About Us

Founded in 1974, Stacey International maintains a resolute tradition of adaptive and imaginative publishing. All Stacey books are oriented towards a defined readership and fulfil a specific purpose. High editorial standards in textual and illustrative content are always maintained and careful attention is given to the quality of design and production. Through an extensive and varied title list, Stacey International seeks to foster mutual understanding between contrasting peoples and cultures. As a publishing house, we are noted for the strength of our bookselling structures in the wider world.

The publishing operation is run from premises in Kensington Church Street, seen here in a drawing of sixty years ago by distinguished artist Frank Emanuel. Dating from 1730, what was then Number One Church Row, it is the oldest structure in the street.

We welcome applications from people who are interested in beginning or furthering a career in publishing to work as interns at Stacey.

We will undertake to provide interesting, genuine projects across the range of our publishing activity, and so provide the opportunity to engage in valuable work in our editorial, production, sales and marketing departments, according to the interests and abilities of each intern and our own workload at any given period. We also reimburse reasonable travel expenses.

To arrange an interview please contact Deana Said by calling 020 7221 7166 or emailing marketing@stacey-international.co.uk.
