Elvis the Camel is the true story of a young camel whose hip is broken one night when he is hit by a truck.

The next morning he is found, trembling with fear by the side of the road. A compassionate mother and her children carry him to the camel track and nurse him back to health. The book ends happily, with Elvis' return to his mother.

This heart-warming story is illustrated in delicate yet vivid watercolours. It will delight children between the ages of five and nine, and can also be used as a picture book for younger children.
