Yemen, Jewel of Arabia
Yemen's history, landscape, architecture and people are all equally beguiling, but for too long, they have remained undiscovered in the western world. Yemen, Jewel of Arabia pays homage to this land in words and stunning images. The book is introduced by Mark Marshall CMG - Britain's ambassador to Yemen for six years. He witnessed the country's prolonged struggle towards unification, and presents an analysis informed by his close knowledge of Yemeni history.
Yemen, Jewel of Arabia will inspire and enthral all those who wish to learn more about this most enigmatic of countries. |
